About the Program:
The Entrepreneurship in Residence Program connects Moldovan entrepreneurs with top executives and successful entrepreneurs from the diaspora. The program offers mentoring support to local businesses helping them scale and enter international markets, foster innovation and global collaboration.
About the role:
We are seeking a mission-driven Project Manager to oversee the Entrepreneurship in Residence Program. In this role, you will work closely with diaspora mentors, local entrepreneurs, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of mentorship activities, networking events, and workshops. You will be responsible for program implementation, stakeholder coordination, and delivering measurable outcomes for the program mentees.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with the diaspora to recruit, onboard, and support at least 10 international mentors annually, managing their selection, contracts, resources, and travel arrangements;
- Develop a detailed program calendar and ensure all resources are ready for mentorship sessions and events delivery;
- Manage applications, support 50–70 entrepreneurs (businesses) with mentorship coordination (up to 2000 mentoring hours), and track progress through key data collection (at least 10% of the supported business penetrate external markets);
- Manage event registrations, deliver a minimum of 10 workshops with 100+ offline attendees per event;
- Maintain stakeholder communication, develop the database of partners, collaborate closely with the marketing team to promote the program, collect constant feedback to improve program activities ensuring an NPS of 80 or higher;
- Prepare reports for stakeholders, monitor budget compliance, and optimize costs for efficient program implementation.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Recruit and onboard international mentors, managing their contracts, resources, and travel logistics;
- Manage mentees’ applications and provide them support, tracking progress and outcomes;
- Coordinate mentorship sessions and events, ensuring smooth execution;
- Maintain stakeholder communication, gather constant feedback, and report on program progress.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in project management, event management or customer experience management;
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, stakeholders and deadlines;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with multiple stakeholders;
- Ability to monitor and report on program performance and budget allocation;
- Fluency in Romanian and English; Russian is a plus.
