Orange Systems is looking for a new colleague to fill in the position of Threat Intelligence & Forensic Expert to work with our International Partners.
The Threat Intelligence & Forensic Expert is a specialized role within the SOC, focused on the advanced analysis of threat intelligence and the execution of digital forensic investigations. Unlike Security Analysts (Layer 2), who are primarily involved in real-time monitoring, incident response, and escalation of security events, the Threat Intelligence & Forensic Expert dives deeper into understanding the broader threat landscape and performing detailed forensic analysis to uncover the root causes of incidents. This role is crucial for enhancing the organization’s defensive posture by providing strategic insights and detailed investigative support.
what you will be doing:
- Gather and analyze threat intelligence from various internal and external sources to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities
- Develop and maintain threat intelligence reports, briefings, and feeds to support SOC operations and decision-making
- Collaborate with external and internal threat intelligence providers and share relevant intelligence with internal teams
- Collect, preserve, and analyze digital evidence from various sources, including endpoints, servers, and network devices
- Support SOC analysts by providing advanced context and analysis related to threat intelligence and forensic findings
- Assist in identifying and understanding sophisticated threats and attack vectors
- Work closely with SOC Layer 2 analysts and other team members to integrate threat intelligence and forensic findings into daily operations
- Share knowledge and expertise on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and forensic techniques
- Maintain detailed records of threat intelligence sources, forensic investigations, and findings
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on threat intelligence trends and forensic analysis to all stakeholders

- Bachelor’s degree
- Fluent English
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and forensic tools
- Experience in gathering and analyzing strategic threat intelligence, conducting advanced forensic investigations, and providing deep insights for long-term security improvements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High level conceptual and analytical skills, creative, problem-solving skills
- Excellent planning, organization, problem solving and follow up skills
- Display excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
