Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an Automation Engineer who will focus on using technology to optimize processes, making them faster, more reliable, and cost-effective, all while supporting the company’s mission to provide satellite-based connectivity solutions.

What you will do:

Design, develop, and maintain automated tests to support system integration and regression testing.

Work in development environment using the leading-edge automation tools.

Requirements:

Fluency in English and Romanian/Russian - Mandatory
Experience in Developing Automation Tests (TestNG annotations, test groups, dependencies, priorities, data-driven testing, listeners & reporting);
Knowledge of Maven, Kafka, Docker, PostgreSQL, gRPC;
Experience with design patterns as Singleton, Factory, Observer etc.
Experience in developing automated tests using Java frameworks (OOP, Collection Frameworks, Exception Handling, Multithreading & Synchronization, Lambda Expressions and Streams);
Knowledge of layer 2- 4 networking protocols (OSI & TCP / IP models, IP adressing, DNS, VPN, load balancers, HTTP/HTTPS)
Experience with Linux OS system (Filesystem structure, Bash scripting, system logs, network tools: netstat, iptables);
Good communication skills and teamwork, responsibility, and commitment.
Analytic and algorithmic thinking
