The Sales Assistant on Amazon at Plantifique is responsible for managing and optimizing product listings, ensuring accurate content, competitive pricing, and effective promotions. This includes tasks such as updating product details, managing SEO, uploading images and videos, and running experiments to improve listing performance. The role also involves creating and managing promotions, troubleshooting listing issues, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to enhance product visibility and sales on Amazon.
Responsibilities:
- Daily listing checks. Monitor and verify that product listings are active, have correct and high-quality images, and display accurate pricing and product details
- SEO optimization. Ensure all listings are optimized with the correct keywords, titles, bullet points, and descriptions to maximize visibility and ranking on Amazon search results
- Price monitoring & adjustments. Regularly update product pricing in Seller Central to stay competitive and align with business goals
- Create and manage promotions. Set up and track promotional offers such as vouchers, discounts, and lightning deals to drive sales
- Create new products. Add new products to the Amazon catalog, ensuring correct and complete product information is entered
- Create product variations. Set up product variations (e.g., size, color, etc.) and ensure they are correctly displayed on the listing page
- Upload images and videos. Upload product images, videos, and any relevant multimedia content to enhance the listings and meet Amazon's requirements
- Content experimentation. Create and monitor experiments for different listing content, such as titles, images, and descriptions, to determine which variations perform best
- Upload flat files. Use Amazon’s flat file templates to upload bulk product data or make updates to multiple listings at once
- Assist in updating the sales report by entering essential data, including competitor information such as pricing, sales performance, and our current keyword ranking
Requirements:
- Excellent data analysis skills
- Good experience using MS Office or Google Spreadsheets
- Knowledge of English at the B1+ level
- Knowledge of Romanian at the C1+ level
- Interest in sales, optimization, development, and improvements
- Results orientation and attention to details
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Proactive attitude and desire to succeed
- Willingness to learn and grow in the online sales industry
- Previous Amazon experience is a plus
