Skills and knowledge
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong experience in designing multi-layer PCBs and creating schematics using CAD tools.
- Proficient in high-frequency techniques for multilayer PCB design.
- Familiarity with analog and digital electronics.
- Technical understanding of microcontrollers, embedded systems, and electronic circuit theory.
Hardware Design:
- Experience in hardware architecture, validation, and design optimization for production.
- Hands-on experience with prototype creation and testing.
- Ability to analyze component and material costs and perform technical feasibility assessments.
Testing and Validation:
- Expertise in hardware testing, spectral analysis, and working in isolated test chambers.
- Writing test specifications and conducting electrical hardware tests on prototypes.
Soft Skills:
- Experience working in small teams (companies under 50 employees).
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and internal teams.
- Passion for low-level hardware design and a desire to continuously develop and master new technologies.
- Language: English proficiency at B2 level (Upper-Intermediate).
Responsibilities:
- Design hardware architecture that meets customer requirements and specifications.
- Create PCB layouts and prototypes using CAD programs, ensuring designs meet both technical and cost requirements.
- Conduct hardware testing, validation, and perform electrical tests on development samples.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to organize prototype production and small-batch manufacturing.
- Document and perform analysis for design processes (FMEA, layout requirements).
- Communicate regularly with clients to ensure product requirements and timelines are met.
- Perform hardware bring-up and system-level testing to ensure optimal performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, validated hardware solutions.
